Guayaquil & the Coast

The gateway to Ecuador’s coast area is the city Guayaquil.  It’s warm coastal climate, impressive waterfront, restored historical buildings and colourful neighbourhoods are just a few reasons to include Guayaquil in your itinerary. Those with more time and an interest in wildlife and nature will want to visit the Machalillia National Park.  Whale watching season is best between June and September.
